Located in a former carriage house in Center City Philadelphia, Dolan/Maxwell specializes in work by artists from the 1930’s to the present. The gallery works closely with the artists and the estates of artists that it represents. The gallery augments these works with carefully chosen pieces by artists, while exhibiting in 10 art fairs per year and continually spending time with those who come to seek work in the house in Philadelphia. The gallery will be bringing together a collection of works by various artists including Donald Teskey, Dox Thrash, Fred Becker, Morris Blackburn, Rachel Selekman and Steven Ford, at the Seattle art fair this year. Based in Seattle, a city as renowned for its natural beauty as its cultural landscape, the Seattle Art Fair stands as a one-of-a-kind destination for the best in modern and contemporary art and a showcase for the vibrant arts community of the Pacific Northwest. The fair brings together the region’s strong collector base; local, national, and international galleries; area museums and institutions; and an array of innovative public programming.
